Join Indivisible Greater Vancouver and MoveOn-Clark County at a rally on Saturday, March 8, 1-3 p.m., at Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA, USA. We will recognize and demonstrate our commitment to the struggle for equal rights, reproductive freedom, gender equality, the right to vote, and civil rights.
We will hear from speakers about the history of the Women’s Movement and how we can and must take action to ensure that our rights are recognized and protected. The speaker list will include Bridgette Fanbulleh, past President of NAACP-Clark County; Cynthia Gardner, scientist; Anne McNerny-Ogle, Mayor of Vancouver; Sue Peabody, WSUV history professor and affiliate faculty in women's, gender, and sexuality studies; Tracy Reilley-Kelly, historian; Donna Sinclair, public historian; and perhaps more.
Our rally will take place at the bandstand/gazebo at the north end of park.
